Summer Solstice

Today is the longest day of the year, and it sure felt like it. I am going on day 5 here at work. I get off tomorrow and get to go home. It has been a long week and we have been pretty busy. This shift started out slow as I stated in previous posts but quickly changed. We have spent lots of time sitting at the airfield for aircraft standbys, many fire alarms (all of which occured between the hours of 12 a.m. and 4 a.m.) and a heart attack. Thankfully the gentleman with the heart attack survived and should recover just fine. I will be spending most of my time off this week doing things around the house. I do plan on going fishing with the family sometime though.

It has been raining quite a bit the past few days. All of the rivers are up so we may try to get out on the boat.

I am still working on getting some pictures on here but it is going to take some work. I will post them as soon as I can.

As I said it has been very busy so I am going to go get some sleep while I can.
