Fathers Day

Hope all the dads have a good Fathers Day. I am at work today, again. Yesterday was a good day. We did not have too much going on. We did however have a good EMS call. Nothing too bad, a guy came by the station with a really bad laceration on his finger. The guy insisted on not going to the hospital so I did the the best I could to stop the bleeding. Every time I added more gauze blood would just soak through it. Finally I talked the guy into going to the hospital and he drove himself there. Later in the evening he stopped by to thank us for talking him into going. The doctors put 2 stitches in his digital artery and 7 stitches in his finger. The cut was a lot worse than he thought.

Today is a wet and rainy day. We were going to do some hose testing but with it raining like it is we are going to wait until tomorrow. I talked to the kids today and they are doing well. We are going to go to the Alaska Salmon Bake on Thurs. night for fathers day and Marianne's Birthday. The kids got me some good stuff for Fathers Day. I got a few things for my laptop and some Grateful Dead stuff.

I got a new motorcycle last week and can't wait to get out of here so I can go riding. I took Hailey for a ride around the neighborhood last Thurs. and she loved it. She used to enjoy going for rides on my old bike and really likes my new one. There is a bigger seat for her to ride on and she thinks the color is pretty. When I get paind next week we are going to go get her little chaps and a learther jacket. She keeps saying she wants them so she can look like daddy. I bought the bike off of a guy I work with. It is a 2003 Honda VTX 1300. I really want a Harley but I can't justify spendind the money on it right now when I can only ride for about 4 -5 months a year.
